About the project
Project Background and the Investment Challenge
Based on a detailed economic feasibility study conducted by RASSEDCO of the education market in the State of Qatar, it became clear that there was high demand for schools following the Indian curriculum, coupled with a low ceiling on the tuition fees permitted for them. This posed a major investment challenge: how could an educational environment built to international specifications be delivered within such low fees?
Through exceptional effort and relentless follow-up, the company succeeded in finding an existing school building that had originally belonged to a Pakistani school whose official licences had not been renewed. Despite the building's deteriorated technical condition and the accumulation of rubble and educational and sanitary waste inside it, RASSEDCO accepted the challenge and leased the site as the cornerstone for launching the project.
Cleared tons of debris and derelict furniture, then re-engineered the structure to the education authority's requirements.
Renewed the infrastructure — treating walls, rebuilding the sanitary systems and applying full waterproofing.
Converted worn classrooms into bright, modern, fully furnished learning spaces.
Installed approved fire, ventilation and safety systems throughout.
Recruited a high-calibre academic and administrative team and secured every required licence from the education authorities.
Marked the milestone with an official inauguration ceremony attended by the school's board of directors and executive partners, then handed the keys personally to the school's director to open on schedule.
Today the school runs regular student activities and cultural trips, with disciplined, uniformed morning assemblies in a fully secured yard.
An Execution Epic: Transforming the Building from Scratch in Just 60 Days
The project required restructuring and replacing every artery of the building so that it would comply with the precise requirements of the committee of the Ministry of Education and Higher Education, known at that time as the Supreme Education Council. In a race against time that took only two months, and before the start of the Indian-curriculum academic year in April, RASSEDCO successfully completed the following operations:
Waste removal and structural restructuring
the project began by lifting out tons of waste, dilapidated desks and accumulated rubble from inside the courtyard and the covered yards, preparing the building for the comprehensive finishing stage.
Technical overhaul and infrastructure renewal
the immediate infrastructure works covered the treatment of eroded walls and the installation of core systems, alongside the full treatment and rehabilitation of the sanitary infrastructure and washrooms and the application of rigorous waterproofing layers.
Final finishing and integrated furnishing
the old classrooms, with their worn-out wooden desks and unfit walls, were transformed into modern, bright classrooms equipped with the latest teaching aids and with comfortable school furniture conforming to specifications.
Implementation of approved security and safety systems
committed to protecting students, the company implemented and installed all security, safety, fire and ventilation means and systems across every facility and entrance of the premises.
The Human Partnership and Official Accreditation
In parallel with the immediate construction works, the company succeeded in:
Attracting and selecting teaching, administrative and technical staff of the highest calibre to guarantee academic excellence.
Obtaining the approval and licences of the Supreme Education Council after meeting the conditions and licensing requirements of all the ministries and relevant authorities in the country, thanks to strict adherence to standards.
Documenting the success through an official inauguration ceremony attended by the board of directors and the school's executive partners.
The Outcome and the Project's Position Today
By the grace of God, and then through the meticulous planning and execution of RASSEDCO, the keys of the school were handed over to the principal of the facility in person so that classes could begin on schedule. Today, Pearl Indian School stands as a vibrant, enduring and sustainable educational institution in Doha, hosting hundreds of students in a cheerful and fully integrated educational environment that includes:
